How a mom earned $500,000 in three years selling on Poshmark

It promised to earn her cash for her used clothes. Poshmark, founded in 2011, is like a cross between Pinterest and eBay for women's clothes. It connects buyers and sellers, handles the payments and logistics, taking a 20% cut. When Teman saw that ad she thought, "Ok, I’ll sign up for it. I listed one thing and it sold. That totally motivated me and I started emptying out my closet and everything sold and sold really fast, too," she tells Business Insider.
